Toney Atkins comments: This is a major observance of the Battle of Chickamauga (GA) on the 150th anniversary of the bloodiest battle of the War Between the States (the Civil War). Plenty of events are scheduled over a four-day period. More details will be posted here later. A must for Civil War history buffs! The Chickamauga-Chattanooga Military National Park is just south of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, and Chickamauga, GA, and tours and activities are occurring throughout this summer.
