Toney Atkins comments: Does anyone in the Chattanooga-North Georgia area remember the Starlight Drive In in Rossville; the Broad Street Drive In, the 23rd Street Drive In, Highway 41 Drive In, the Marbro Drive In, Highway 58 Drive In ... and there may have been a couple I missed. Oh, those were the good old days. Along came television to keep people at home and to topple the drive in theater screens, along with the closure of small, independently owned movie houses.
