APPRECIATING MEMBERS OF THE MILITARY, NOW AND THEN
Veterans Day 2012 is Monday, Nov. 12. If you know a veteran of World War I or World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Operation Desert Storm, the Iraq War, the ongoing war in Afghanistan or any other conflict in which American servicemen and women have participated, please make it a point to tell them "thank you" in some form or fashion. We have heroes living among us who often go unrecognized and/or unappreciated. Now is the time to change that. -- Toney Atkins
