Tornado Safety & Preparedness

Tornado Safety & Preparedness

In the wake of destructive and historic Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy, we now know that Mother Nature does not play favorites in when or where she can deliver catastrophe.
As northwest Georgians, Alabamans and Tennesseans learned on April 27, 2011, areas formerly believed to be immune from tornadoes and severe wind and other storm damage in reality could be struck with weather of sometimes catastrophic and tragic ferocity.
I found the above information on The Weather Channel's web site. You may want to use it to be mentally and physically prepared in the event that severe weather, especially tornado and wind events, threaten. -- Toney Atkins
