Postscript from Toney: I would LOVE to have a beer with Jesus! This song ("Beer with Jesus") is NOT a new low for country music. It offers some serious food (drink?) for thought. What would He and I talk about? What questions would I remember to ask, and would I listen instead of monopolizing the conversation? I'd rather have a beer with Jesus than anyone I know.
Don't Christians have a sense of humor or rational minds any more? God, please help us!
