Toney comments: Republicans mislead us when they believe in the words of documents written by our founding fathers in establishing the United States of America. They seem to pooh-pooh the concept that "all men are created equal." (A progressive gay acquainance told me with a smile, "That's definitely not true.") But I digress, returning instead to the reality of what our forefathers said and to what many Americans give lip service but don't put into practice:
