Toney Atkins comments: Where in the Christian Bible does God and Jesus say that man should own a gun, much less an assault rifle? Yes, man has a right to self-defense, and the U.S. Constitution's second amendment gives the right to bear arms to do so. But assault weapons? Right-wing extremist survivalists who, for reasons unknown, fear the government and, in fact, seem to want a civil war within our country would likely want, and most likely already have, weapons designed for war. The average gun-owner may feel the need for a regular gun to defend himself or herself against such unpatriotic Americans who want to take back a country that never was.
