When other friends turn away, the dog would be there with its unselfish love. Perhaps the person who committed this act should be treated like a dog. If an individual does not want to keep a dog or cat, he or she should make an effort to find someone who would like to take the animal into his or her home and life. There are plenty of people who would love to have the friendship and love of an animal.
