Cancer clinics turning away Medicare patients due to sequester
Cancer clinics turning away Medicare patients due to sequester (from MSN Now)
Toney Atkins comments: Republican lawmakers in Washington should be delighted to read that MSN Now link. The only folks they want to keep healthy are themselves, the rich and the bank accounts of the rich. Laws for the common man, the poor and the needy? Republicans don't care about people, or at least, their record in recent years doesn't show it. They had rather filibuster in their cowardice than show their true colors by actually letting their constituents know how they vote. How will they resolve the problems caused by the sequester? Don't hold your breath -- but, then again, some of them would probably like to see you turn blue so you would be one less poor, sick citizen they wouldn't have to care about. And some of you Democratic representatives and senators? You're not much better. When are all of you going to prove that you seriously care about the people who comprise the United States?
