Toney Atkins comments: With a lot of wild winter snow still falling in parts of the U.S., it's almost hard to believe that spring is about to be sprung. The season officially begins March 20, and lest you lose sleep wondering why the first day of spring is not the usual March 21, I found this post on AccuWeather.com that brings you today's science lesson. (March came in like a lion through much of the country. Will it go out like a lamb? Do we really need April showers on top of all the moisture we've had? Of course, we do, especially if some warmer weather will fall, too.)
