Lawmakers angered at U.S. military's handling of sex assault problem

Toney Atkins writes: Rape victims in the military include men as well as women, and it's about time that lawmakers addressed this invisible scandal. The men and women who put their well-being and their very lives on the line for their country do not deserve the trauma of being sexually abused (raped) within their ranks and having that horror swept under the rug.
